[:ja]ホノルル空港 カンタス航空ラウンジで入場拒否。意地悪バアさんに辱めを受ける[:en]Qantas Lounge in Honolulu, Felt sad with vicious staff[:]

[:ja]先日JALでハワイに行ってきました。
私は一応ヒラJGCなのでホノルル空港ではサクララウンジを使えるのですが、せっかくなのでカンタスラウンジを訪問してみることにしました。
※JALとカンタスは同じワンワールド・アライアンスなので、JAL便搭乗時にカンタスのラウンジを使用できます。逆の場合も同じ、カンタス航空のお客はJALラウンジを利用できます。

カンタスは聞いていた場所と違う

カンタス航空のラウンジはセキュリティ通過後の26番ゲート上にあると聞いていました。
ワンワールドの公式ページにもそう書いてあります。

ところが26番ゲートの上にはなにもありません。
どういうことだろう、とさんざん探し回ったのですが、まったく手がかりなし。
同じくラウンジを探している様子の韓国人がいたので聞いてみたら、アシアナ航空のラウンジに行くそうです。
その人は一階にあるというので、付いていったらカンタスのラウンジはアシアナ航空の隣りにありました。
地図上で言うと25番ゲートの下辺り、1階にあります。
(ゲートの上ではなく下。公式ホームページが間違っている)

開かずの扉、カンタス・ラウンジ

結構地味な場所にあります。
しかも扉が閉まっています。
ただ閉まっているのではなく、鍵がかかっていて開かないのです。
押しても引いても反応なし。

よく見ると扉の横にインターホンがありました。
こちらを何度も連打すること、数分。
「ビー」と機械音がして、ようやく鍵が開きました。
なんと閉鎖的なラウンジでしょう。

JGC会員、カンタス航空に断られる

カウンターでお姉さんにJAL便の搭乗券を見せると、

「JALのお客さんはラウンジに行ってください。ここはカンタスなんで」
と言われました。

「それは知ってるけど、ここがいいんです。ワンワールドでしょ♡」と入室をお願いすると、優しいお姉さんはなぜか困った様子。

「上司に聞いてきます」と言ってどこかに去っていきました。

入れ替わりに現れたのは高齢のこわそうなオバサン(下写真)。
苦虫を噛み潰したような顔つきです。

オバサンは老眼鏡越しに私の搭乗券をまじまじと眺めています。
するとオバサンは「No！」とつぶやき、搭乗券を突き返しました。

“Go To JAL!”

「Why?」と尋ねると「Go to JAL！」と手で追い払う仕草を示します。
まるで犬か浮浪者を追い払うようなそぶりです。
OMG・・・。

オバサンいわく、
「ここはカンタス。いまいるお客はフィリピン航空のお客だけ。フィリピン航空便が出発したらラウンジは閉めるからね。アンタはJALに行きなさい」

ということなのです。

どうして?
JALとカンタスは仲悪いのかな？
フィリピン航空は良くて、どうしてJALはダメなんだ？
そもそも、ここはハワイだぞ。
この敵対的なムードはいったいなんなんだ！

「同じワンワールドだからカンタスもJALも共同で使えるんですよ」とオバサンに噛んで含めるように話すも、聞く耳持たない様子。
面倒くさそうな顔をして、どこかにいなくなってしまいました。
私の事は完全に無視。
まさに招かざる客状態です。

困った私はもう一度オバサンを呼び出して、涙ながらに(多少演技込めて)入室を頼み込みました。
すると今度はオバサンは

「もう一度航空券出しなさい」

と言って、おもむろに電話を取りました。
どこかに電話をかけています。

この顔つきをご覧ください。
私のことはまるで犯人扱いです。
警察かどこかに掛けているのかと思って耳を澄ませて聞いていたら、
オバサンはどうやらJALに電話しているみたいです。
「オタク(JAL)の客がここに来て、どうしてもラウンジに入りたいと言うんだけど、困っている。なんとかしてよ」

などと電話で話しています。
10分ほどやり取りの挙句にJALとカンタスの電話会談は終わり、

「10分だけだよ」と嫌味ったらしくラウンジ入室を許可されました。
その後、オバサンは近くにいるフィリピン航空の客と、「面倒な日本人でさあ」などとタガログ語風味の外国語で私の悪口を言っています。
この人はフィリピン人なのでしょうか。
それにしてもただラウンジの様子を見たかっただけなのに、どうしてこんな意地悪をされるのか、分かりません。
カンタス航空、おっかないラウンジです。

参考までにラウンジの写真を撮ってきました。

カウンターにひと気はありません。
鍵がかかっていて、だれも入ってこないから当然か。

客席もガラガラ。
50人ほどは座れそうな席があります。

ソファからは1階の中庭が見渡せます。
外からラウンジ内も覗くことが出来ます。

お酒はいろんな種類がある。

コーヒー、ティーバックなどもある。
販売ライセンスも貼ってあります。

このまま帰るのもシャクなので、ビール一本飲みました。
プラスチックカップです。
LONGBOARDがあったのだけはマル。
10分で一気飲みです。
最後にトイレも借りてきました。

いかにもアメリカっぽいというか、無機質な感じ。

トイレは汚かったです。
（特に汚かったところは掲載省略)

いやー、それにしても世界中見てきたけど、ここまでひどいラウンジは初めてです。
オバサンの虫の居所が悪かったのは別としても、全体的にやる気の無さが充満しています。
アメリカではなく、おそロシアのレベルです。
それにしても、こういうクレームって、いったいどこに言ったら良いのでしょうね。
JALなのか、カンタスなのか。
まあ、「もう二度と行かない」ということに尽きます。

まとめ：ホノルル空港は普通にサクララウンジに行きましょう。

[:en]I went to Hawaii by JAL the other day.
Since I am oneworld sapphire member, I can use the Sakura Lounge at Honolulu Airport, but I decided this time to visit the Qantas Lounge.
※ Since JAL and Qantas are the same one world alliance, Qantas lounge can be used when boarding JAL flight. In the opposite case, the same, Qantas customers can use the JAL lounge.

Qantas is different from the place in the website

I heard that Qantas lounge is on gate 26 after security pass.
That is also written on the official page of OneWorld.

However, there is nothing lounge like above the 26th gate.
I search for everywhere, but there is no clue at all.
Then a Korean passed by, who seemed to be looking for a lounge as well.
He is going to Asiana Airlines’ lounge.
Asiana Airlines’ lounge is on the first floor, so Qantas’ lounge was next to Asiana Airlines as I followed him.
On the map, Qantas is on the 1st floor, under the 25th gate.

Door is Lock closed, Qantas Lounge

It is quite plain place.
Moreover, the door is closed.
It’s not only closed, it’s locked and it does not open.
There is no reaction when pushing or pulling.

When I looked closely, there was an interphone beside the door.
I hit it for several times.
“Bee" sounded mechanical, and the key finally opened.
What a secret lounge!

Oneworld Sapphire rejected by Qantas

I showed JAL flight boarding pass with oneworld sapphire status to the Qantas staff at the counter.

But She said.

 “JAL customers should go to the JAL lounge, this is Qantas"

“I know that, but I came here. I am a oneworld sapphire member."

She said, “I will ask my boss", and she left somewhere.

After that, 50s’ scummy lady (bottom picture) came to me.
She looked like that have eaten some bad insults.

She looked at my boarding pass tightly over the presbyopic glasses.
And suddenly she tweeted as “No!"
And threw me back the boarding pass.

“Go To JAL!"

When I asked her “Why?"
But she showed the gesture to drive away by hand, and said “Go to JAL!" 
It is almost like stopping a dog or a bug.
OMG · · ·.

She said,
“This is Qantas, customers who are currently in are only Philippine Airlines’ passengers, so if the Philippine Airlines flight departs, the lounge will close, so you should go to JAL."

 

why?
Is JAL bad about Qantas?
Philippine Airlines is good, why is JAL useless?
In the first place, here in Hawaii.
What is this hostile mood!

“It’s the same one world so Qantas and JAL can jointly use it," I said, but she does not have ears to hear.
She went out of somewhere, with a face that looked awful.
I was completely ignored from any qantas staff.
I was like a customer state without invitation.

I once again called the old lady, asking for entrance with tears (with a bit of performance).
Then, she said,

“Show me your air ticket again"

Saying she gave a phone call to somewhere.

Please look at her look.
She treat me as if I were a criminal.
I listened to her conversation carefully as I thought she was going to be somewhere on the police station,
But she apparently seems to be calling with JAL.
“Your (JAL) guests come here and he definitely want to enter the Qantas lounge, but I cannot accept it. Please help me"
The phone conversation between JAL and Qantas was over at about 15 minutes,

“You have only 10 minutes"
She said, and I was allowed to enter the lounge.
After that, she was speaking ill of me in a foreign language of Tagalog flavor with guests of Philippine Airlines nearby, and said such as “Coming in troublesome Japanese" etc.
Even so, I just wanted to see the Qantas lounge, but I do not know why they were making such a nasty.
Qantas Honolulu is such a funny lounge.

I have taken pictures of the lounge for your reference.

There were few people in the lounge.
It’s locked and nobody comes in because of it.

The guests also rattled.
There are seats that about 50 people are likely to sit.

The sofa overlooks the courtyard on the first floor.
You can also look inside the lounge from outside.

There are various kinds of alcohol.

Coffee, tea bags are also available.
A sale license was on the wall.

It is shaky to leave as it is, so I drank a bottle of beer.
A plastic cup looks very poor to drink with.
But thank God, there was Hawaiian LONGBOARD.
I have to drink within 10 minutes as the staff told me.
Lastly I used a toilet.

It seems that it looks like American, but it is an inorganic feeling.

The toilet was a little bit dirty.

Well, I have visited many lounge in all over the world, but definitely this is the most terrible lounge.
Apart from that the old lady’s feeling was so bad, they are completely filled with the lack of motivation.
It is the United States, not the Soviet Union.
Anyway, where would you say such a claim?
Is it for JAL or Qantas?
Well, it’s exhausted to say “I will never go there".
