そういえば公式ホームページにオンラインアプリの紹介が出ていました(下記)。
画面上では富士山を背景に桜の花がひらひらと舞い落ちています。
中国らしからぬ洒落たデザインです。
いいですね。
説明書きは少々カタコトの日本語。
それでもなかなか便利な機能を提供していることがわかります。
せっかくなのでアプリをインストールしてみることにしました。
今回はエアチャイナの公式アプリの知られざる機能のご紹介です。
いきなり中国語の洗礼が
Google Playから「エアチャイナ」で検索して表示されたのがこちら。
タイトルがいきなり中国語です。
「国航○△」と中国語で書いてあって読めませんが、エアチャイナのロゴが出ているので、きっとこれでしょう。
「中国国際航空と雲の上を飛んでお楽しみください」と注釈の上に表示されたユーザー評価は3.3。
あまり高くはありません。
しかし、れっきとした大手航空会社の公式アプリですから、そんな変なことはないでしょう。
とりあえず「インストール」ボタンを押します。
実は個人情報収集アプリか
ダウンロード完了後、次はアプリのインストール。
すると、こちらの確認画面が現れました。
アプリがスマホ内の個人データにアクセスする権限を求める画面です。
連絡先や位置情報、電話のほか、画像・動画・音声、カメラ・マイク、WifiやBluetooth接続情報、電話番号、端末ID、通話状況その他、ありとあらゆる個人情報にアクセスするつもりのようです。
ずいぶん多いような気がしませんか。
これではまるでスパイアプリのようです。
ちなみにANAのアプリと比較してみましょう。
ANAアプリが求めている権限は「ストレージ」「位置情報」「連絡先」「電話」の4つだけ。
どれもうなずける設定内容です。
ついでにJALアプリも見てみます。
JALが必要としているのは「ストレージ」と「電話」だけ。
とてもシンプルです。
これらと比較するとエアチャイナの公式アプリは個人情報を収集し過ぎであることがわかります。
しかし文句を言っていても先に進めません。
仕方ないのでエアチャイナを信用することにして個人情報アクセスに「同意する」ボタンを押します。
Googleから野良アプリ認定
すると、次に現れたのがこちらの画面です。
こんどはいったい何だ？
「新バージョンでは多少の更新をしています。直ぐにアップデートを開始してお試しください」とのこと。
インストールしたばかりなのに、早々にアップデートを求めてきました。
Google Playにアップしていたアプリは古いバージョンだったのでしょうか。
「おいおい、最初から最新版のアプリを掲載してくれよ」と思わずため息。
仕方ありません。
「直ぐにアップ」を選択します。
すると今度は警告画面が現れました。
「モバイル端末のセキュリティ上の設定で、提供元不明のアプリのインストールをブロックしています」
との表示が現れて、インストールが止まってしまいました。
これはGoogleからの野良アプリ認定です。
エアチャイナがアップデートと称してインストールさせようとするアプリがGoogleによると「提供元不明のアプリ」とブロックされました。
たしかにそうですよね。
Googleが指定したGoogle Playではなく、迂回してわざわざ別ルートからアプリを再インストールさせようとしているのです。
絶対に怪しい。
なにか裏がありそうです。
Google Play版のアプリとエアチャイナからダウンロードしたアプリは内容がなにか違うのではないかと疑わざるを得ません。
Google Play版ですら、ただでさえ個人情報を吸いまくりなのに、さらに怪しいとは、いったい・・・。
毒を食らわば皿まで
ここまで来たらとことんまで行ってみよう、と覚悟を決めました。
設定画面から「ユーザー設定」→「セキュリティ」→「提供元不明のアプリのインストールを許可する」をONにします。
警告画面が現れます。
「提供元不明のアプリからスマートフォンや個人データが攻撃を受ける可能性が高くなります」
との恐ろしい警告です。
まさにエアチャイナに向けられた警告です。
「このようなアプリの仕様により生じる可能性があるスマートフォンへの損害やデータの損失について、ユーザーご自身が単独で損失をおうことに同意するものとします」
とまで言われてしまいました。
たかが航空会社のアプリをインストールするだけで、ここまでリスクを背負わなくてはいけないのでしょうか。
しかし、もう腹を決めています。
ここは「OK」を押して、エアチャイナの野良アプリをゴックンと飲み込みます(インストール)。
長い道のりを経てようやく現れたのがこちらの画面です。
もう1月も終わりだと言うのに、パンダのコスプレに身をまとったパンダがなにやら中国語で叫んでいます。
時代遅れで意味が分かりません。
なにか良いことが書いてあるのでしょうが、日本語でお願い申し上げます。
とりあえずここは「スキップ」。
ログイン画面まではまるで障害物競走
スキップを数回繰り返します。
するとようやくログイン画面にたどり着きました。
ここまでずいぶん長い道のりでした。
待ちに待ったログイン画面です。
こちらはサンタではなく、2017年の新春モードになっています。
トップ画面は日本語対応で分かりやすくデザインも好感が持てます。
せっかくインストールしたアプリですから気分を入れ替えて楽しみましょう。
機能も豊富にありそうですよ。
自分の予約した航空券番号をログイン画面に入力すると、すんなり予約記録が現れました。
札幌からクアラルンプールまで4便に登場するのですが、すべての便名がきちんと表示されています。
そのうちの一つ、搭乗予定のCA871便を選択するとフライト時間や運賃などが表示されます。
「運行状況」や「チェックイン」「変更」「払い戻し」のボタンもありますが、こちらはグレーアウトして選択できません。
搭乗日までまだ日があるからでしょうか？
変更や払い戻しくらいは対応しても良いような気がしますが。
「事前座席指定」を試してみる
トップページから唯一選択できるのは「事前座席指定」です。
試しにボタンを押してみます。
進行中のマルがクルクル回った後に表示されたのがこちら。
「サーバーが混雑しております」とのことです。
その後10回ほど試しましたが、症状は変わらずでした。
座席指定は残念ながらアプリからは出来ないようです。
都市間マイレージ検索は使えるか
これ以外にもいろいろな機能があるのですが、試してみたところ中国語表示のページばかりで意味がわからず、あまり使えません。
ごく一部に日本語のページもあるのですが、使い勝手は悪いです。
そのうちのひとつ、日本語の「都市間マイレージ検索」を試してみました。
ANA修行で使うPPを計算するうえで使えそうです。
「その他」→「都市間マイレージ検索」と進みます。
ここまではぜんぶ日本語対応です。
今回搭乗予定の札幌ー北京間のマイルを調べてみましょう。
Sapporo→Beijingを選択すると「現在、両都市間のマイル情報がありません」との回答が戻ってきてしまいました。
いちおう定期便が毎日一便飛んでいる路線なのですが、マイルすらわからないようです。
そんなに難しい計算ではないと思うのですが。
予約機能は使えるか
仕方ない。
あきらめて次の修行のための激安運賃を探すことにします。
トップに戻り予約画面に移動します。
試しに札幌からクアラルンプールまでのビジネスクラスの運賃を調べてみます。
もうセールは終わってしまったのですが、いまの料金はどうなっているでしょうか。
行き先と日時を入力します。
すると・・・
「申し訳ありません。お探しの情報はありませんでした。別の条件から再度ご検索ください」と表示されました。
何回試しても結果は同じ。
おかしいです。
この日の便はあるはずです。
試しにパソコンから予約すると下記の通り運航便があります。
パソコンから予約できる便が公式アプリから予約できないのです。
予約すらできないとは、使えないアプリですね。
いったい何のためのアプリなのでしょうか？
アプリで便変更はできるか
仕方ない(をさっきから連発していますが)。
「自分の予約便でも変更してみるか」とアプリで試してみます。
ビジネスクラスなので、規則上は無料で便変更できるはずです。
999から始まる航空券番号を入力します。
ところが、またもやエラー表示です。
「申し訳ございません。現在一時的に国内線片道航空券の変更のみ操作可能です!」
と現れて便変更もできませんでした。
突然、恐ろしい事態が
ここで恐ろしい事態が発生しました。
ブログネタにスマホ画面をバシバシ撮影(キャプチャー)していたら、こんな画面が突然現れました。
自分がキャプチャーした画面がポップアップで現れました。
下の方でユラユラ揺れています。
まるで幽霊のようです。
「キャプチャー」と表示されています。
勝手にアプリ画面をキャプチャーしていたのがエアチャイナにバレたようです。
「ご意見」「シェア」を選択できるようです。
エアチャイナに通報できるボタンなのでしょうか。
怖くて押せません。
そっとアプリの画面を閉じました。
アパホテルが炎上、次は・・・
そういえば先日、アパホテルが炎上して中国からサーバー攻撃されたとか。
中国を批判する本をホテルに置いたのが癪に障ったらしいです。
そうしたら向こうからサーバーを攻撃されたとか。
犯人分かりやすっつ！
こういうのは器物損壊容疑で警察は取締できないのか？
などとブログで書いていることも、実はエアチャイナのアプリでぜーんぶ中国に筒抜けかなのです。
なにせスマホの全権限をエアチャイナに与えてますからね。
恐ろしや〜。
予約も変更もできないし、エアチャイナの公式アプリはまったく役に立ちません。
こうなったら個人情報を吸い上げるだけのスパイアプリ容疑に認定。
速攻で削除することにしました。
